Llegó incluso a probarla varias veces y me dijó: "Me recuerda tus sorbetes...

Vamos... Venga!!!
- Schmilblick!!! Tu puedes andar!!! Yo no puedo.

- Muchas gracias Yol... ¿He esquiado???
- Pues si, es un si rotundo. Lo has hecho!
- Perfecto.

ZOÉ AND THE SNOW...

Zoé is our guest as you already know: in fact she is part of our family and she looks so much like a human that our friends and relatives think she is an old friend of mine, which puzzles me a lot because she is far younger than me...
The thing is that we went to spend our short Easter holidays in a little town in the Pyrenees where she saw snow for the first time in her existence.

I am unable to repeat in words or even in phonetics what she said, but by the expression on her face she was delighted. She just dived into it digging frantically, giggling endlessly and clapping her hands. She even tasted it several times saying "Reminds me of your sorbets... This is really something; you "humans" have mountains who make ice creams, wooow!"
I was happy to see her behave just like a little girl, just like we all did in our childhood...

As we reached the parking of the ski resort, we took our skis, boots and sticks from the boot.
"Zoé, you have to put those boots on... look at me and proceed as I do"
She did it. I helped her and fixed her boots to her legs properly. She was standing still looking at me consternated...
"There, take your skis and put them on your shoulders like I do... and hold the sticks in your other hand... Let's go... Come on.!!!
- Schmilblick!!! You are walking!!! I can't. Those devices are squeezing my feet and my ankles... and they are so-ooo heavy... Hehe, you're kidding me eh???"

"Schmilblick" is one of her words again. I have no idea of its translation but she uses it to express her surprise when she isn't pleased with something.

"How am I supposed to walk with those ... those... those things ... Let me TP us!
- No, no Zoé don't do that... No, don't do that! Have a look around you, people are walking can you see them? So, try it and let's go... Come on...
- Schmilblick! I am walking like bears do. I saw a documental on your National Geographic channel and now I feel like a bear... Yol, let me TP us, trust me. Why do we have to suffer that way...? Look at us. We are ridiculous. Wearing solid, STIFF boots, holding sticks and carrying flat pieces of plastic on our shoulders... and YOU like that "skiing" stuff???? Are you serious? Don't tell me that I also have to wear that kind of pot on my head...

She was damn right one more time... I can't deny the fact that skiing is really uncomfortable.

"Well, OK Zoé you can TP us but do it discretely,,, and..." too late, she had TPed us at the top of the piste.
No ski pass, no queuing... just perfect!!!
- Wow, the view is marvellous... This is such a beautiful part of the universe... what's now Yol?
- We have to slide down the mountain following the slope...
- OK, let's do that ... ooOOOOoohhhhh. Schmilblickkkkkkkk.!!!..." and she crashed ten meters downward.
"Shaddock!!! Shaddock!!! Reshaddock!!!"

Now "shaddock" means she is extremely pissed off... I went immediately to help her get on her feet again.
"Let me give you a hand, let me help you...
- Thank you very much Yol... Did I ski???
- Yes, absolutely, in a way you did it!
- Perfect. Enough for me"
And she TPed us back to the parking, inside the car, with me sitting at the steering wheel.

Here is a picture of her posing for my album, the day after...
